SO YOU'RE THINKING OF GOING TO ISRAEL?
I've told many people I would share our information with them, so here it all is.  This is just one person's opinion, so however YOU want to do Israel is also wonderful!

Eight of us started planning our trip in December 2017 with a guide who came highly recommended but didn't pan out even after 13 months of planning.  We had a basic agenda, but nothing else and our flight was in another 2 months.  That's when we made a last ditch effort and contacted Itai Tours, who was recommended by a friend.  Within two days (2 days!!) Itai took our agenda and turned it into a concrete plan, with hotel reservations and all logistics in place.  From the second we arrived in Tel Aviv, Itai took care of every last detail.

Our original group of 8 ultimately wound up being 6 and for us, that made all the difference.  Six was just enough to fit into one car, fit at one table, move in and out of crowded sites with ease and even more fortunate, Itai himself was available to be our guide.  Every day was filled with history and learning and amazing beauty and discussion which flowed freely among just 6 people.  And don't even get me started on how AMAZING the food is!

We went off season (March) and the weather was perfect and the crowds relatively small but no matter where or when you go, expect crowds.  Here is the album from our trip.

It was a matter of personal choice that we did a "boutique" tour of so few people and a private guide but there are so many options available.  Ours was basically an Israel 101 agenda, covering all the major Jewish and Christian sites, but tour guides in Israel can fashion whatever you want, whether it's a mutligenerational family tour or one specifically dealing with commerce or politics.  But I can't say enough good things about Itai.  Absolutely worth starting there.
